Taskr for Claude
Ask Claude about your actual jobs
On its own, Claude is good at writing and explaining, but it can't see your business. Connect Taskr and it can read your jobs, sites and schedule, answer from them, and book or move work for you once you say yes.
Connect Taskr to Claude
In Claude on the web or the desktop app, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Taskr and paste the connector URL.
https://mcp.taskrs.com.auChoose Connect and sign in with your usual Taskr account. No API key is needed.
In a new chat, make sure Taskr is turned on in the tools menu under the message box, then ask what's on this week.
Claude's guide lists which plans include custom connectors. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds Taskr for the organisation first, then each person connects with their own Taskr login.

Things to ask once it's connected
- “What's due this week, and is anything overdue?”
- “Which quotes are still waiting on the customer?”
- “Which invoices are unpaid past 30 days?”
- “Book the annual service at the Collins St site for next Tuesday.”
Same question, two answers
Real answers, recorded on in Taskr's demo workspace and trimmed for length only. The jobs and sites are sample data.
“What's due at 303 Collins St, and is anything overdue?”
Claude on its own
I can't see your jobs, sites or service history, so I don't know what's due at 303 Collins St.
If you paste in your job list or an export from your job management software, I can sort it by due date and flag anything that's overdue.

One thing is overdue: the annual service (TSK-00035) was due on 30 September and still hasn't been booked in.
Coming up, all already assigned: the dry powder extinguisher on 17 November, the 36 m hose reel on 1 December, the LED exit sign on 15 December and the twin spot emergency light on 12 January.
Want me to book the annual service in alongside the extinguisher visit on 17 November?

“What's next on the Mitchell bathroom reno, and what's holding up tiling?”
Claude on its own
I don't have access to your project, so I can't tell you what's booked next or who's doing it.
Generally, tiling in a wet area waits on the waterproofing membrane, its cure time and a passed flood test. If you share your schedule I can check yours against that order.
Claude with Taskr connected
Tiling is waiting on waterproofing. Brisbane Wet Area Waterproofing does the AS 3740 membrane on Tuesday 17 November, then the 24-hour flood test and certificate on Wednesday 18 November. Tiling can't start until that passes.
The underfloor heating mat goes in on Thursday 19 November, after the flood test, and Inner West Tiling Co starts on Friday 20 November for about 4 working days.
If the flood test slips, the heating mat and the tiling both move with it. Want me to push them back a day if that happens?

What Claude can do in Taskr
Look things up
- What's due, overdue or not yet booked, and the full history of any job
- Who's booked where, today or any day this week
- A customer or site with its contacts, open work, quotes and invoices
- Quotes waiting on the customer and invoices still unpaid
- Approvals waiting on you and a summary of how the business is tracking
Make changes, with your OK
- Create, assign, book, move and complete jobs
- Add customers and draft quotes and invoices
- Run one of your workspace's saved workflows
- Send a quote, invoice or message, cancel or void something, or delete a record. These are marked as permanent, so the assistant checks with you every time.
Specialist tools when you ask
- Estimating and takeoffs, purchase orders, timesheets, assets, faults, inspections and more. They stay out of the way until a question needs one, and the assistant finds the right one itself.
Claude asks before it runs a change, unless you've told it to always allow that tool.
Your data and permissions
- You sign in with your own Taskr login on Taskr's sign-in page. The assistant never sees your password, and there's no API key to copy.
- It sees and does only what your role in the workspace allows. A technician's connection can't open what only an owner can.
- It works in one workspace at a time. If you belong to more than one, ask it to switch workspace.
- Every Taskr tool is labelled as a lookup or a change. Deleting records and anything that moves money also needs your approval in Taskr.
- Taskr keeps a log of every request a connected assistant makes: which account, what it did, which records it touched and when. Workspace owners can check it in Taskr under Automations, then Agents.
- Taskr only receives the requests the assistant sends. Your conversation and chat history stay with the assistant's provider.
Disconnecting: In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Taskr and disconnect it. Claude stops using your Taskr account straight away. A workspace owner who removes you from the workspace also ends Claude's access to it.
The details are in our privacy policy and terms.
Who can use it
- A Taskr login in a workspace. Anyone on the team can connect their own account, with their own role's access.
- If the workspace's subscription has lapsed or checkout isn't finished, the assistant can still look things up but can't make changes until billing is sorted.
Troubleshooting
- It says I'm in the wrong workspace
- Ask the assistant to list your workspaces and switch to the right one, or disconnect and connect again, then pick the workspace when you sign in.
- It can't see something I can see in Taskr
- The assistant only gets what your role allows, and some areas are turned off for a workspace. Ask it what it can do here: it checks your role and the workspace's modules and tells you.
- Sign-in keeps failing or the connection drops
- Disconnect Taskr in the assistant's settings, connect again and sign in the same way you sign in to Taskr, with the same email.
- A change didn't happen
- Permanent actions and anything that moves money wait for your OK, in the chat or in Taskr. Check Inbox, then Approvals in Taskr for anything still waiting.
