Using it well

  • Give every asset a label that matches the register, so the technician can find the right row on site.
  • Record the interval, not only the due date. The interval is what lets the next date be worked out after each visit.
  • Keep one row per asset, and a separate service history, rather than overwriting the last visit.

Outgrowing the spreadsheet?

In Taskr every asset sits on its site with its service history and next-due date, and recurring schedules create the visits. Import this spreadsheet to load your sites and assets.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an asset register and a service history?

The register is one row per asset. The history is one row per visit. Together they show what is on site and what was done to it.

Can I import this into Taskr?

Yes. Taskr imports CSV and Excel files, and you match the columns to Taskr's fields when you upload.
